An HR Consultant in Bahrain is looking for a Food Safety Officer with the following:
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement food safety policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular inspections of food establishments to ensure compliance with regulations.
- Investigate complaints related to food safety and take appropriate action.
- Provide training to food handlers on safe food handling practices.
- Collaborate with other government agencies and stakeholders to improve food safety standards.
- Keep abreast of developments in food safety regulations and best practices.
- Maintain records of inspections, complaints, and enforcement actions.
- Communicate with the public about food safety issues and precautions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in food science, microbiology, or a related field.
- Certification in food safety (e.g., HACCP, ISO 22000) is preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and standards in Bahrain.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to conduct thorough inspections.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with others.
- Experience in food safety or a related field is an advantage.
