Food Safety – Executive

A Health meal plan company in Bengaluru, Karnataka is looking for a Food Safety Executive with the following: ,

Responsibilities

• Conduct Comprehensive Food Safety Audits
  Carry out regular inspections of kitchens, cafeterias, and food service areas to ensure compliance with FSSAI guidelines, company SOPs, and hygiene standards.
• Perform Sensory Evaluations
  Assess the taste, texture, aroma, and overall quality of both vegetarian and non-vegetarian food items to ensure they meet the expected quality benchmarks.
• Train Food Handlers on Hygiene Practices
  Develop and deliver engaging training sessions for food preparation and service staff on topics such as personal hygiene, cross-contamination prevention, cleaning & sanitation, and safe food storage.
• Monitor Cafeteria Performance
  Track and document operational hygiene scores, identify areas for improvement, and coordinate corrective actions with cafeteria teams.
• Liaise with Food & Beverage Teams
  Work closely with F&B managers, kitchen staff, and procurement teams to maintain food safety compliance and resolve any quality or safety issues promptly.

Qualifications

• Education & Experience: Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in food safety, quality control, or a related role in the food & beverage industry (preferred).
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively train staff and prepare reports.
• Flexibility: Ability to work in rotational shifts, including weekends if required.
• Language Skills: Proficiency in Hindi and/or Kannada (preferred).
• Adaptability: Willingness to conduct sensory evaluations, including tasting of non-vegetarian food items.
