An Outsourcing and Consultant Company in Dubai, UAE is recruiting a Food Safety Auditor with the following:

Responsibilities

  • Adhere to stated policies and procedures relating, and quality management
  • Develop new ideas, projects (trainings, new services etc…) or provide new ideas of upgrade of existing related to food safety department
  • Nurture good working relationships both within and across departments
  • Be responsible for management of own workload escalating issues or workloads
  • Keep up to date with food safety regulations in the MENA and G.C.C areas
  • Pursue personal development of skills and knowledge necessary for the effective performance of the role.
  • Conduct detailed food safety audits for clients, ensuring compliance with Dubai Municipality standards as well as international food safety protocols.
  • Generate detailed audit reports, offering practical recommendations and insights to improve food safety protocols.
  • Conduct Food Safety Trainings (BFST, PIC, HACCP)
  • Meet with the clients to discuss reports and their concerns on a regular basis
  • Ensure audits are assigned and done as per the predefined schedule
  • Train new auditors as per the auditors calibration process
  • Attend meetings when required by Senior Management;
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest regulations and trends in food safety to ensure that clients receive the most current and relevant advice and training.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or a related field.
  • Dubai Municipality Approved trainer for Basic Food Safety and PIC training (preferably) or equivalent experience that will guarantee approval by the DM (usually min of 5 years experience in the field).
  • Proven experience in food safety or a related field.
  • Ability to travel to client sites as needed within UAE and the GCC.
  • Have a valid driving license.
  • Strong knowledge of local and international food safety regulations.
  • Certifications in food safety management systems such as HACCP, ISO 22000 (advantage).
