A hotel and Hospitality group in Dubai, UAE is looking for a Food Safety and Hygiene Officer with risk assessment and hote-hazard control minimization techniques:
Job Responsibilities
- Conduct and regularly review risk assessments for all areas in the hotel, implementing site-specific control measures to minimize hazards.
- Ensure that the EHS management system is established, implemented, and maintained following ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 standards requirements.
- Provide top management with necessary reports on the EHS management system established within the property and recommendations for improvement.
- Monitor and identify relevant changes in EHS or HACCP, hotel and hospitality local regulations and laws, updating internal procedures, policies, and forms accordingly.
- Drive improvement and track goal achievement through collection, analysis, and communication of EHS goals and measurements.
- Communicate hotel-specific emergency management plans to address actions in case of an emergency.
- Manage and control all hotel and hospitality documents (manuals, policies, procedures, logs) related to Environmental Health and Safety measures, health insurance and HACCP, including the corresponding reports.
- Ensure employees are trained on the basic EHS awareness training identified for their departmental operations.
Job Qualifications
- College/university degree graduate, preferably in Health, Hygiene, or Quality Management.
- A minimum of one year of experience in a similar role, with previous experience in the Middle East, is preferred.
- Computer literate with effective communication skills, both verbal and written in English (Arabic proficiency is a plus).
