Food Stuff Trading Company in Dubai UAE is hiring a Food Safety and Hygiene Officer with the following:
Job Responsibilities
- The duties and responsibilities of the Food Safety and Hygiene in Charge encompass a comprehensive range of tasks, including evaluating and approving suppliers, to ensure food safety standards are followed.
- Keeps updated records of approved suppliers, creating and correcting Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), monitor receiving of foodstuff supply and following up on product and customer complaints.
- Conducts random and daily monitoring of all processes that food safety protocols are followed and observed. Documents standard procedure for traceability purposes, analyze stock flows, implements annual SOP reviews, keeping company food safety manuals updated, enforce its protocols and performs daily warehouse inspections with corrective action plans.
- Arrange and facilitate staff food safety training and medical checks schedule, manage vehicle inspection and cleaning schedules, conducts maintenance audits and schedule repairs if needed. Oversees Jolt application back-end processes, documentations and conducts training sessions.
- Performs various food safety audits and implement corrective actions accordingly including attendance for Dubai Municipality and customer audits in the facility.
- Ensures adequate stock of cleaning chemicals and equipment and coordinates with the pest control provider for pest treatment schedule.
- Ensures that HACCP & ISO Implementation and Food Safety Reporting Scheme are fully adhered.
Job Qualifications
- Graduate in Food Technology or any related field.
- Experience in implementing Food Safety Standard in a Food Stuff Trading Catering Company.
- Facilitates the calibration procedure of company owned vehicles and equipment including the conduct of food testing, when necessary.
- Assist and report to the Management for whatever repairs and maintenance requirement of the company.
- Keep updated records of all HACCP/ISO/food safety related documents in a Food Stuff Trading.
- Being the Person In-Charge of the company, is the responsible person to maintain and update all HACCP/ISO documents (documents should be ready at all times, for possible unannounced inspection), daily checking of cleanliness and orderliness of the entire company facility, vehicle, food handlers and ensure that all the food safety monitoring records are filled up and updated on a daily basis.
