A vegetable Supplier and Processing group in Dubai, UAE is hiring a Food Safety and Hygiene Officer with the following:
Job Responsibilities
- Conduct regular quality checks on sanitized and pre-cut fruits and sproutings vegetables.
- Monitor and enforce food safety standards and regulatory compliance.
- Implement the company’s quality control procedures and protocols.
- Perform microbiological and chemical testing to ensure delicacies’ safety.
- Maintain detailed records of quality assessments and corrective actions.
- Collaborate with the production team to identify and resolve quality issues.
- Train staff on quality assurance and control practices; QA Testing practices.
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, msc Microbiology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1 year experience in food safety & hygiene management, food microbiology lab preferably in the fresh produce industry.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and standards (e.g., HACCP, ISO 22000).
- Strong communication skills in English.
