Food Quality -Senior Executive wanted at a leading Food Processing Multi-National Company in Hosur, Tamil Nadu, India with the following

Job Responsibilities

  • Quality Systems Management:
    • Implement, maintain, and continuously improve quality management systems (QMS) in line with company and regulatory standards.
    • Ensure compliance with ISO, FSSAI, HACCP, GMP, and GHP guidelines.
  • Internal & External Audits:
    • Prepare and coordinate for third-party, customer, and internal audits.
    • Address audit findings with effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
    • Maintain all audit-related documentation.
  • Product Quality Monitoring:
    • Oversee in-process quality checks and monitor finished product parameters.
    • Conduct sensory, chemical, and microbiological testing as per standards.
    • Ensure timely release of raw materials, packaging materials, and final products.
  • Documentation & Record Keeping:
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date quality records, SOPs, and inspection reports.
    • Ensure traceability and product recall readiness through proper documentation practices.
  • Training & Team Coordination:
    • Train production and quality teams on SOPs, hygiene practices, and quality protocols.
    • Foster a culture of food safety and quality awareness on the shop floor.
  • Vendor & Supplier Quality Management:
    • Conduct quality evaluations of raw materials and packaging materials.
    • Collaborate with procurement and supplier teams to manage quality-related concerns.
  • Complaint & Deviation Handling:
    • Investigate consumer complaints, product deviations, and non-conformities.
    • Provide root cause analysis and recommend actions for continuous improvement.

Job Qualifications – Food Quality -Senior Executive

  • Education:
    Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Food Technology, Food Science, or Chemistry
  • Experience:
    • Minimum 6 to 8 years of experience in the FMCG or food processing sector
    • Strong exposure to quality systems, regulatory audits, and plant-level QA/QC functions.
  • Technical Skills:
    • In-depth knowledge of HACCP, ISO 22000, FSSAI regulations, and GMP
    • Proficient in MS Office, documentation tools, and data analysis for quality reporting
  • Personal Attributes:
    • Attention to detail and analytical mindset
    • Strong communication and leadership skills
    • Ability to work under pressure and manage cross-functional teams.
