Food Quality Manager to oversee food safety, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance across a quick-service restaurant operation in the UAE. The ideal candidate will ensure that all food products meet company standards, local municipality regulations, and international food safety requirements while maintaining consistency across outlets.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive Food Safety Management Systems (FSMS) in line with HACCP, ISO standards, and UAE food safety regulations.
  • Ensure full compliance with local municipality food control laws and internal quality assurance policies.
  • Conduct regular quality audits, inspections, and hygiene assessments across restaurant outlets and central kitchens.
  • Monitor food preparation processes to ensure adherence to standard recipes, portion control, and quality benchmarks.
  • Lead corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for non-conformities identified during audits or inspections.
  • Supervise food quality control procedures for raw materials, semi-finished, and finished products.
  • Coordinate with procurement and suppliers to ensure approved vendor compliance and quality consistency.
  • Oversee temperature monitoring, storage conditions, and food handling practices to prevent contamination risks.
  • Train and mentor kitchen and operations staff on food safety, hygiene practices, and quality standards.
  • Maintain proper documentation, reports, and records related to food safety audits, inspections, and certifications.
  • Investigate customer complaints related to food quality and implement improvement measures.
  • Collaborate with operations and management teams to drive continuous quality improvement initiatives.

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Hospitality Management, or a related field (preferred).
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in food quality control or food safety management, preferably within quick-service restaurants (QSR) or multi-outlet F&B chains.
  • Strong working knowledge of HACCP, ISO standards, GMP, and UAE local food safety regulations.
  • Experience handling municipality inspections and food safety audits in the UAE.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient in documentation, reporting, and quality management systems.
  • Good communication skills in English (Arabic is an advantage).
