A Poultry Processing Company in Dubai, UAE is looking for a Food Quality Controller with the following:

Responsibilities-Food Quality Controller

  • Ensure all products meet the company’s quality standards and specifications.
  • Perform routine inspections and audits of production processes to ensure compliance with BRC standards.
  • Collect, analyze, and report quality data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of quality control activities and findings.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal quality protocols.
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) related to quality control and food safety.
  • Train production staff on quality standards and best practices.
  • Conduct regular training sessions on food safety and hygiene protocols.
  • Investigate and resolve quality-related issues promptly and effectively.
  • Implement corrective and preventive actions to address non-conformities and prevent recurrence.
  • Work closely with production, procurement, and R&D teams to ensure quality standards are maintained throughout the supply chain.
  • Participate in cross-functional team meetings to discuss quality improvements and initiatives.
  • Lead and participate in continuous improvement projects aimed at enhancing product quality and operational efficiency.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in quality control and food safety practices.

Qualifications

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in the Poultry/Food/FMCG manufacturing industry.
  • Quality Controller Dubai , UAE experience preferred.
  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Food Science or Food Technology.
  • Completion of BRC standard (BRC auditor or internal auditor course).
  • Strong soft skills, particularly in data management and trend analysis.
  • Good knowledge of quality and food safety standards.
  • Candidates currently residing in the UAE are encouraged to apply.
  • Candidates with experience in a food manufacturing company will be given preference.
  • Attention to detail in performing quality checks and maintaining accurate records.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with team members and stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with Quality Controller tools and software.
  • Knowledge of HACCP, ISO standards, and other relevant quality systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address quality issues swiftly and efficiently.
