Food Hygiene Executive opportunity for a leading Hospitality Industry in Dubai. Seeking a highly motivated hygiene professional to ensure the highest standards of food safety, sanitation, and hygiene management within a 5-star hospitality environment.This role plays a critical part in maintaining HACCP compliance, microbiological safety, sanitation auditing, and food safety training across all food production and service areas.

The Food Hygiene Executive is fully responsible for implementing and maintaining the highest sanitation and hygiene standards across all food handling, storage, preparation, and service areas. The role ensures that all food served to guests and employees is free from microbiological, chemical, and physical contamination, in full compliance with local food safety regulations and international hospitality standards.

The position also supports a performance-driven culture, ensuring operational excellence, cost efficiency, and outstanding guest satisfaction — turning every guest into a loyal brand advocate from arrival to departure.

Job Responsibilities

Food Safety & Hygiene Compliance

  • Ensure strict adherence to HACCP, GMP, and food safety regulations within all kitchen and food service operations.
  • Monitor hygiene and sanitation practices to prevent food contamination and cross-contamination.
  • Conduct routine hygiene inspections, internal audits, and risk assessments.
  • Oversee cleaning schedules and sanitation programs for kitchens, storage areas, and food production units.
  • Ensure pest control, waste management, and temperature monitoring procedures are implemented effectively.
  • Verify that all work areas meet minimum required hygiene and sanitation standards at all times.

Quality Assurance & Risk Management

  • Identify potential food safety hazards and implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Investigate food safety incidents and implement root cause analysis.
  • Ensure documentation compliance in line with food safety management systems.
  • Support external audits and regulatory inspections.

Training & Team Development

  • Conduct food safety and hygiene training sessions for kitchen staff and service teams.
  • Provide on-the-job and off-the-job coaching.
  • Deliver training on personal hygiene, cross-contamination prevention, and safe food handling.
  • Offer constructive feedback to improve operational performance.

Guest Experience & Service Excellence

  • Support operational teams in delivering safe, high-quality food experiences.
  • Assist in resolving guest complaints related to food quality and hygiene.
  • Ensure effective service recovery where required.
  • Contribute to creating a memorable and safe dining experience for all guests.

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar Food Hygiene, Food Safety, or Sanitation role within a 5-star hospitality environment.
  • Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience (for candidates managing teams).
  • Degree in Microbiology, Food Science, or a related field, or equivalent certification.
  • Certification in Food Safety Training, HACCP, or Train-the-Trainer programs is required.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety regulations, hygiene standards, and sanitation protocols.
  • Excellent training and presentation skills.
  • Strong communication skills in written and spoken English; additional languages are an advantage.
  • Minimum high school diploma required; College degree in Hotel Management or related field preferred.
