Female Nutritionist for a dedicated nutrition professional with experience in healthcare catering, hospital nutrition, or institutional food service operations.
The Food Nutritionist will be responsible for planning, developing, and monitoring nutritionally balanced menus for large-scale catering operations, including special dietary and patient meal requirements. The role ensures strict compliance with UAE food safety regulations, client specifications, and company quality standards, while maintaining cost efficiency and high food quality.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop and implement nutritionally balanced menus for mass catering and healthcare clients
- Plan and supervise patient meals according to medical prescriptions and therapeutic diet requirements
- Ensure compliance with HACCP standards and UAE food safety regulations
- Monitor portion control, calorie count, and nutrient composition
- Coordinate with kitchen production teams to ensure correct meal preparation and labeling
- Conduct regular quality checks on meals for taste, presentation, and nutritional accuracy
- Manage special diets including diabetic, low-sodium, renal, cardiac, and other therapeutic plans
- Maintain accurate documentation related to diet charts, menu cycles, and nutritional analysis
- Collaborate with management to maintain cost-effective meal planning without compromising nutritional value
- Support audits, inspections, and client reporting requirements
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, Food Science, or related field
- Proven experience in central kitchen, hospital catering, or institutional food service
- Strong knowledge of therapeutic diets and patient meal planning
- Familiarity with HACCP, food safety regulations in UAE, and quality control systems
- Excellent communication and coordination skills
- Ability to handle large-scale catering operations
- Currently residing in the UAE
