Quality Assurance Supervisor vacancy to oversee food safety, quality assurance, and compliance operations within a dynamic fast food / Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) environment in the Western Region of Saudi Arabia This role is ideal for professionals with strong expertise in Food Safety Management Systems (FSMS), HACCP implementation, and international food safety standards.

Job Responsibilities

As a Quality Assurance Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of food safety, quality control, and regulatory compliance across all operational units. Your core responsibilities will include:

  • Implementing, maintaining, and improving Food Safety Management Systems (FSMS) in line with HACCP and ISO standards.
  • Monitoring compliance with HACCP, GMP, IPM, ISO 22000, and FSSC 22000 requirements.
  • Conducting internal food safety audits, hygiene inspections, and supplier evaluations.
  • Identifying food safety risks and implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Ensuring full compliance with local food safety regulations and international standards.
  • Overseeing traceability systems and product recall procedures.
  • Preparing detailed audit reports, compliance documentation, and performance analysis reports.
  • Training and coaching operational teams on food hygiene, sanitation standards, and best practices.
  • Coordinating with regulatory authorities and certification bodies when required.
  • Verifying the effectiveness of corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Food Processing, Food Safety, or Public Health.
  • Professional certifications in food safety such as:
    • HACCP Certification
    • FSMS Certification
    • ISO 22000 or FSSC 22000
    • Integrated Pest Management (IPM)
    • Highfield Level 3 Certification or higher
  • Proven experience in Food Safety, Quality Assurance, or Food Quality Control.
  • Previous experience in the Fast Food or QSR sector is highly preferred.
  • Hands-on experience in implementing and managing food safety audits and compliance programs.
  • Strong technical knowledge of HACCP, FSMS, GMP, IPM, and traceability systems.
  • Ability to plan, conduct, and document internal and external audits.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong report writing and documentation skills.
  • Effective stakeholder management and cross-functional coordination.
  • In-depth understanding of local regulatory requirements and international food safety standards.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume food production or restaurant environment.
