Digital wellness platform in Chennai, India is looking for Food Technologist with the following:

Job Responsibilities

  • Regulatory Compliance & Documentation
    • Manage and maintain documentation for FSSAI, ISO, Halal, and AYUSH certifications inDigital wellness.
    • Prepare, update, and organize records required for audits and external inspections.
    • Ensure adherence to national and international food safety standards.
  • Quality Assurance & Quality Control
    • Conduct batch-wise testing, sampling, and analysis of raw materials and finished products.
    • Maintain accurate quality records, COAs (Certificates of Analysis), and batch manufacturing documents.
    • Monitor CCPs (Critical Control Points) and ensure GMP & hygiene standards are implemented on the production floor.
  • Supplier & Ingredient Management
    • Manage vendor registration, ingredient approvals, and ensure traceability of raw materials from source to final product.
    • Coordinate with procurement to verify supplier compliance with quality standards.
  • Team Coordination & Operations
    • Support and guide the QC team in daily operations, lab testing, and process monitoring.
    • Assist in resolving non-conformities and implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • New Product Development Support
    • Collaborate with the Digital wellness R&D team during formulation trials, stability studies, and product enhancement.
    • Provide inputs on ingredients, nutritional values, shelf life, and regulatory feasibility.

Job Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology, Biotechnology, Food Science, or related disciplines.
  • Experience: Fresh graduates or candidates with 0–1 year of experience in the food, herbal, nutraceutical, or wellness industry.
  • Strong understanding of food safety, quality control processes, and basic laboratory practices.
  • Knowledge of regulatory documentation (FSSAI, AYUSH, ISO, Halal) will be an added advantage.
  • Good analytical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to quality improvements.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams (Production, R&D, Procurement).
