A leading Healthcare Services in UAE is hiring a Dietician with the following:
Responsibilities
- • Act as a point of liaison and resource for staff regarding nutrition management and care.
- • Participates in nutrition screening, referral, and management training for new staff during orientation/ induction
- • Performs initial nutrition assessments and reviews of patients and whenever possible recommends appropriate, evidence-based intervention and advice for the prevention and management of nutrition related disease & comorbidities and malnutrition.
- • Ensures continuity of care for patients with active nutrition issues.
- • Facilitates referrals of patients with complex nutrition related issues beyond their scope of practice to more experienced Dietitians. This may necessitate referring to external Dietetic Departments.
- • Supports medical caregivers in following up on post consultation activities such as patients’ evaluation reports.
- • Maintains accurate records of all patient related information and services provided (assessment, intervention, education and referrals) as per Departmental Standards.
- • Participates in external events to create awareness of nutrition and health related issues/topics.
Qualification
- • Bachelor of Science in Dietetics
- • Bachelor’s Degree in Health Science with a major in Nutrition
- • Post-graduate Diploma or Master in Dietetics
