Deli Meats – Food Technologist

A Deli Meats Processing company in Dubai UAE is looking for a Food Technologist with the following:

Job Responsibilities

• Develop and improve deli meats products by formulating recipes and ensuring high-quality standards.
• Conduct research on ingredients and processes to enhance flavor, texture, and shelf-life of products.
• Oversee the production process to ensure compliance with food safety standards, including HACCP and GMP.
• Monitor quality parameters and perform regular product testing to ensure consistency.

• Collaborate with suppliers to source raw materials that meet company specifications.
• Maintain and update documentation related to product development, production, and quality assurance.
• Provide technical support and training to the production team regarding product specifications and processes.
• Address customer feedback by troubleshooting issues and implementing necessary improvements.
• Ensure compliance with local regulatory requirements, including Dubai Municipality standards.
• Stay updated on market trends and new technologies in the food processing industry.

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology, Food Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the food industry, preferably in meat processing or deli meats products.
• In-depth knowledge of HACCP, GMP, and ISO standards in a deli meats Company.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address product development challenges.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills to coordinate with multiple departments.
• Proficiency in using laboratory equipment and quality control tools.
• Familiarity with local and international food regulations and standards.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects effectively.
• Fluent in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
• Experience in using ERP or similar systems is preferred.
