Dairy Technologist vacancy at a leading Dairy Processing Plant in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia with the following:

Job Responsibilities

  • Oversee dairy plant operations in Riyadh, including low-care and high-care filling and processing activities.
  • Ensure efficient, safe, and high-quality production of dairy products in compliance with regulatory and company standards.
  • Operate and troubleshoot SCADA systems and dairy filling machines to reduce downtime and optimize productivity.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives in Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, Sustainability, and Morale (SQCDSM).
  • Manage production materials through ERP systems, including creation/closure of manufacturing orders, reporting finished goods, and ensuring complete traceability.
  • Handle dairy industry chemicals and consumables management, including usage monitoring, demand planning, and coordination with budget owners.
  • Plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance with pre- and post-inspections from a food safety and quality assurance perspective.
  • Provide training and development for staff, new joiners, and trainees to enhance technical expertise and operational performance.
  • Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and drive Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) using Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Enforce quality standards through SOPs, sanitation programs, quality audits, and HACCP/QMS compliance.
  • Maintain a safe work environment by implementing HSE policies, conducting safety audits, and delivering regular health and safety training.

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Dairy Technology, Food Technology, or related discipline (Master’s preferred).
  • Proven experience in dairy production operations in Saudi Arabia or related food industry roles.
  • Strong technical expertise in dairy processing, machine operations, and SCADA systems.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems for production and resource management.
  • Knowledge of HACCP, QMS, IL6S, and global food safety standards.
  • Practical experience in preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, RCA, and CAPA.
  • Excellent skills in production planning, problem-solving, and continuous improvement.
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and leadership abilities with experience in training staff.
  • Commitment to quality, food safety, and occupational health & safety compliance in the dairy industry.
