Coca-Cola Soft Drinks company FMCG is hiring a Food Safety Coordinator for Massachusetts, United States location with thethe following:
Job Responsibilities-Coca-Cola Soft Drinks
- Quality Compliance & System Gap Analysis:
Identify, assess, and address gaps in food safety systems to ensure full alignment with federal, state, and soda – Coca-Cola company requirements. - Manufacturing Support:
Collaborate with Co-packers and Coca-Cola-owned bottling plants to maintain and enhance food safety and quality performance, particularly in the production of Coca-Cola soft drinks. - Quality Documentation & Communication:
Manage updates to the Quality Manual and distribute changes to all relevant plant personnel, ensuring thorough understanding and proper implementation. - Corrective & Preventive Action (CAPA):
Initiate and oversee corrective actions in response to audit findings, incidents, or customer complaints. Ensure root cause analysis is completed and preventive measures are in place. - Incident Management:
Lead preliminary investigations before IMCR (Incident Management and Crisis Resolution) events and support the preparation and submission of CAPAs. - Performance Monitoring & Reporting:
Analyze regional quality metrics and provide actionable insights to regional management for continuous improvement. - Risk Mitigation & Problem Solving:
Participate in cross-functional teams focused on identifying and mitigating food safety and quality risks in Coca-Cola soft drink production facilities.
Job Qualifications
- Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, or related technical discipline required. A technical or engineering degree is preferred. - Work Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in food and/or beverage manufacturing with a focus on quality assurance and food safety.
- Experience with Coca-Cola soft drink production or similar beverage categories (e.g., juice, dairy, aseptic, hot fill, water) is highly desirable.
- Hands-on knowledge of regulatory frameworks, including FSMA, HACCP, ISO 22000, and other relevant food safety standards.
- Experience in design review of processing lines, water treatment systems, and beverage manufacturing is a plus.
