Biotechnology- Instructor based in Dubai, UAE, with strong subject-matter expertise across key biotechnology domains. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering industry-relevant biotechnology courses aimed at students, graduates, and working professionals through a hybrid learning model.

Job Responsibilities

  • Biotechnology- Instructor must design, structure, and deliver short-term and certification-based biotechnology courses using a hybrid teaching approach, including live online sessions, recorded modules, and selective in-person workshops where applicable.
  • Conduct engaging and in-depth lectures covering core biotechnology disciplines such as molecular biology, genetic engineering, microbiology, bioinformatics, industrial biotechnology, bioprocessing, and essential laboratory techniques.
  • Develop comprehensive and well-organized course materials, including presentations, learner guides, assignments, quizzes, assessments, and industry-oriented case studies aligned with academic frameworks and current industry requirements.
  • Provide practical-oriented training, incorporating virtual laboratory demonstrations, experimental design discussions, standard operating procedures (SOPs), workflow simulations, and data analysis and interpretation sessions.
  • Customize teaching methodologies to effectively address the learning needs of undergraduate students, fresh graduates, working professionals, and career transitioners from related life science domains.
  • Evaluate learner progress through tests, practical assignments, mini-projects, presentations, and final assessments, ensuring fair grading and timely, constructive feedback.
  • Stay current with emerging trends, technological advancements, regulatory updates, and real-world applications in biotechnology, life sciences, and allied industries.

Qualifications – Biotechnology- Instructor

  • Demonstrated experience as a Biotechnology Lecturer, Instructor, Trainer, or Academic Faculty member in universities, training institutes, or online/hybrid learning platforms.
  • Strong foundational and applied knowledge of biotechnology principles, laboratory methodologies, instrumentation, and industrial applications.
  • Prior experience in delivering short-term certification programs, professional training courses, or skill development initiatives is highly desirable.
