A pharma-cosmetic producing Industry in Dubai, UAE is looking for a Regulatory Trainee with the following:

Job Responsibilities

  • Product Registration & Compliance
    • Ensure timely and successful registration of all products and brands from sister companies across relevant Gulf and international markets.
    • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of local and international regulatory guidelines, product registration processes, and changes in compliance standards.
    • Develop and maintain a centralized database for product registrations, certifications, and regulatory documentation.
  • Market Expansion & Regulatory Approvals
    • Identify regulatory challenges or requirements for new market entry and develop strategies to ensure smooth product registration in new regions.
    • Prepare dossiers and submit regulatory documents in accordance with the requirements of authorities such as Dubai Municipality, ESMA, SFDA, MOH, and others.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination
    • Collaborate closely with the brand team, export team, and local market representatives to ensure regulatory activities are aligned with business timelines.
    • Respond promptly to inquiries and additional documentation requests from suppliers, certifying bodies, and local regulatory teams.
  • Regulatory Networking & External Communication
    • Establish and maintain strong professional relationships with regulatory authorities, third-party laboratories, and certification agencies including Intertek, SGS, Dubai Municipality, ESMA, SFDA, MOH, etc.
    • Track certification progress, follow up regularly, and ensure timely renewals and approvals.

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Biotechnology, Industrial Pharmacy, Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Science, or a related field.
  • Prior experience in regulatory affairs, compliance, cosmetics, or pharmaceutical industry is an advantage (fresh graduates may also apply if highly motivated and knowledgeable).
  • Fluency in English is mandatory.
  • Knowledge of Arabic and/or French is considered an added advantage.
  • Technical Skills
    • Proficient in MS Office and basic Excel for data organization, tracking, and reporting.
    • Ability to manage digital documentation and workflows using IT tools.
  • Soft Skills
    • Strong communication and coordination abilities across internal teams and external regulatory bodies.
    • Attention to detail, ability to work under deadlines, and willingness to learn regulatory procedures.
