Role Description
This is a part-time remote role for a Data Entry Specialist at FoodTechSafety. The Data Entry Specialist will be responsible for accurately inputting and updating data into the system, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality, providing administrative assistance, and delivering excellent customer service.
Job Responsibilities
- Accurately input data into company databases and software systems.
- Review and verify data entries for accuracy and completeness.
- Perform regular updates and maintenance of records to ensure data is up-to-date.
- Organize and categorize data for easy retrieval and analysis.
- Maintain confidentiality and ensure the security of sensitive information.
- Generate reports and summaries from data as required by management.
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve discrepancies and clarify data-related inquiries.
- Assist in identifying and correcting errors or inconsistencies in data entries.
- Follow data entry protocols and standard operating procedures.
- Meet daily, weekly, and monthly data entry targets and deadlines.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in data entry or office administration is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Data Entry Specialist or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in data entry software, Microsoft Office Suite, and database management tools.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in entering and reviewing data.
- Excellent typing speed and accuracy, with knowledge of touch-typing systems.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Basic knowledge of administrative procedures and practices.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information responsibly.
- Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with CRM or ERP systems.
- Knowledge of data protection and privacy regulations.
- Experience in handling large datasets.
