Role Description
This is a part-time remote role for a Data Entry Clerk at FoodTechSafety.com. The Data Entry Clerk will be responsible for entering and updating data in the company’s systems, maintaining accurate records, and supporting administrative tasks related to data entry. The role will involve working independently and ensuring timely and efficient data entry processes.
Job Responsibilities
- Enter and update system data accurately into the company’s database and management systems.
- Verify the accuracy and completeness of datastream received from various sources.
- Maintain organized records and ensure data is easily accessible for team members.
- Perform regular data quality checks of customer data platform to ensure compliance with company standards.
- Collaborate with team members to resolve discrepancies and correct data errors.
- Generate reports and summaries as requested by management for data loss prevention.
- Maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information in line with company policies.
- Adhere to deadlines for data input tasks to support ongoing projects and operations.
- Assist in other administrative tasks as required by the team.
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in data entry or Business Analytics administration is a plus.
- Proven experience as a data entry clerk or similar role, preferably in a food safety or related industry.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel) and familiarity with Oracle-based data management systems.
- Excellent typing speed and accuracy.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Good communication skills to work effectively within a team.
- Basic understanding of food safety terminology is an advantage.
