A leading FMCG Company in Ajman, UAE is looking for a Senior Quality Executive with the following:

Role Name: Senior Quality Executive
Reporting To: Senior Manager – Quality
Industry: FMCG / Food Manufacturing
Location: Ajman, United Arab Emirates

Job Responsibilities

  • Inspect and approve incoming raw materials, ingredients, and packaging materials to ensure compliance with approved specifications, food safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Perform in-process quality checks and finished goods inspections to ensure product consistency, safety, and conformance to quality parameters.
  • Implement, monitor, and continuously improve quality control systems, SOPs, work instructions, and quality manuals in line with company and regulatory standards.
  • Identify, investigate, and document quality deviations, non-conformances, and customer complaints using root cause analysis (RCA), CAPA, and corrective action methodologies.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date quality records, reports, and documentation to support internal audits, customer audits, and external certifications.

  • Coordinate closely with production, sanitation, and maintenance teams to ensure compliance with GMP, hygiene, sanitation, and food safety requirements.
  • Validate cleaning and sanitation procedures, including CIP/COP activities, and review environmental monitoring and hygiene verification results.
  • Monitor compliance with HACCP plans, CCPs, OPRPs, and prerequisite programs to ensure effective food safety management.
  • Prepare detailed quality performance reports, trend analyses, and KPI summaries and present findings to plant leadership and senior management.

  • Conduct periodic training and awareness sessions for production and line staff on quality standards, food safety, hygiene practices, and SOP compliance.
  • Support product traceability systems, mock recalls, and actual recall management procedures to ensure full compliance with regulatory and customer requirements.
  • Assist in implementing continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, reduce rework, and minimize customer complaints.

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology, Food Science, Microbiology, Biotechnology, or a related field.
  • Minimum 4+ years of experience in Quality Assurance / Quality Control within FMCG, food manufacturing, or food processing industries.
  • Strong working knowledge of HACCP, ISO standards (ISO 22000 / ISO 9001), GMP, GHP, and relevant food safety systems.
  • Familiarity with FSSAI regulations and international food safety and quality frameworks is an added advantage.
  • Experience in audit preparation, documentation control, deviation handling, and CAPA implementation.
  • Excellent observational skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to analyze quality data and trends.
  • Good communication and coordination skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work independently, handle multiple priorities, and meet strict quality and compliance deadlines.
