Looking an experienced and passionate Food Safety Trainer – Academic Trainer – Food Safety & Laboratory Quality Management Systems (LQMS) to join our growing training and education team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality training programs in Food Safety, ISO Standards, and Laboratory Quality Systems, preparing students and professionals for successful careers in the food, laboratory, and life sciences industries.

This role is ideal for candidates with strong technical knowledge, teaching ability, and a genuine interest in academic training and student development.
Job Responsibilities
- Deliver classroom and practical training in Food Safety Management Systems, HACCP, GMP, GHP, and ISO standards
- Conduct academic sessions on Laboratory Quality Management Systems (LQMS) including ISO 17025, ISO 9001, ISO 22000, and related compliance frameworks
- Train students on food microbiology, quality control, risk assessment, food safety regulations, and documentation systems.
- Develop, update, and deliver structured course content, presentations, training materials, and assessments
- Support students with practical case studies, real-world applications, and industry-oriented learning
- Evaluate student performance through assignments, tests, and practical demonstrations
- Provide academic guidance and mentoring to students for career readiness
- Stay updated with latest food safety regulations, international standards, and industry best practices
- Maintain training quality standards and ensure effective knowledge transfer
Job Qualifications
- BSc or MSc in Food Technology, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Life Sciences, or a related discipline
- Strong knowledge of Food Safety Systems, ISO standards, and Laboratory Quality Management Systems (LQMS)
- Prior experience in academic training, teaching, or professional food safety roles is highly preferred
- Sound understanding of HACCP principles, food safety regulations, audit processes, and quality documentation
- Excellent English communication and presentation skills
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts in a simple, student-friendly manner
- Passion for teaching, training, and student development
- Proficiency in preparing training materials, presentations, and assessments
Trainer
- Experience working in food manufacturing, laboratories, quality assurance, or food safety roles
- Exposure to ISO audits, laboratory accreditation, or compliance activities
- Prior experience as a trainer, lecturer, or academic instructor will be an added advantage
