Frozen Fruits Processing company in Pune, India, is looking for a Food Quality Officer – Fresher with the following:

Job Responsibilities

As a Quality Officer, you will support our quality team in maintaining the highest standards of food safety and product quality. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conduct routine inspections of raw materials, packaging materials, in-process products, and finished goods under supervision.
  • Monitor and document production processes to ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Assist in conducting quality checks at various stages of production to prevent defects, contamination, or non-compliance.
  • Support sampling and testing activities to ensure products meet company and FSSAI quality standards.
  • Assist in implementing and maintaining food safety protocols such as HACCP.
  • Perform regular inspections of sanitation and hygiene conditions in production and storage areas.
  • Ensure strict adherence to hygiene, health, and safety regulations across all processes.
  • Maintain accurate records of quality inspections, testing results, and corrective actions.
  • Prepare quality-related documentation required for internal audits and regulatory compliance.
  • Report non-conformities or deviations to the Quality Manager promptly.
  • Collaborate closely with the production and QA teams to maintain high product standards.
  • Participate in internal training sessions to improve knowledge of quality processes and industry standards.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product consistency and operational efficiency.

Job Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Food Technology, Food Science, Microbiology, Biotechnology, or related fields.
  • Experience: Freshers are welcome; training will be provided.
  • Technical Knowledge:
    • Basic understanding of food safety, quality control processes, and hygiene standards.
    • Familiarity with FSSAI regulations, HACCP, and GMP will be an advantage.
  • Skills & Attributes:
    • Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
    • Excellent teamwork, communication, and organizational skills.
    • Ability to adapt in a fast-paced work environment.
    • Good record-keeping and problem-solving skills.
