Quality Manager vacancy at Dubai, UAE to lead and oversee the Quality Assurance (QA) and Food Safety functions across all branches in the U.A.E. This pivotal role is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining robust Food Safety & Quality Management Systems that comply with local regulatory requirements, international standards, and industry best practices.

The ideal candidate will ensure that all operational sites consistently deliver safe, high-quality products while fostering a culture of continuous improvement in quality and safety across the organization.

Job Responsibilities

  • Oversee the implementation, monitoring, and improvement of Quality Management Systems across all branches in line with HACCP, ISO, BRC, FSSC 22000, and other global standards.
  • Ensure compliance with UAE food safety regulations, Good Hygiene Practices (GHP), and HALAL standards.
  • Lead and mentor QA teams at various locations to maintain consistency in quality practices.
  • Develop and execute internal and external audit programs to identify non-conformities and drive corrective actions.
  • Establish and review Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to track the effectiveness of quality systems and recommend improvements.
  • Collaborate with production, maintenance, procurement, and other departments to resolve quality-related issues and ensure product safety and integrity.
  • Prepare and present comprehensive QA reports to senior management and regulatory authorities as required.

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in Quality Assurance/Quality Control roles within the food manufacturing industry, preferably in flour mills, grain processing, or related food production facilities.
  • Proven expertise in managing multi-site quality operations.
  • Educational Background: Master’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related discipline.
  • Mandatory Certifications:
    • Good Hygiene Practices (GHP)
    • HACCP Certification
    • HALAL Compliance
  • Preferred Additional Certifications:
    • ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor / Internal Auditor
    • BRC Global Standard (Issue 8)
    • FSSC 22000
    • Other relevant Food Safety and QA certifications.
