An HR Consultant in Bahrain is looking for a Food Safety Officer with the following:

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement food safety policies and procedures.
  • Conduct regular inspections of food establishments to ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Investigate complaints related to food safety and take appropriate action.
  • Provide training to food handlers on safe food handling practices.
  • Collaborate with other government agencies and stakeholders to improve food safety standards.
  • Keep abreast of developments in food safety regulations and best practices.
  • Maintain records of inspections, complaints, and enforcement actions.
  • Communicate with the public about food safety issues and precautions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in food science, microbiology, or a related field.
  • Certification in food safety (e.g., HACCP, ISO 22000) is preferred.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and standards in Bahrain.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to conduct thorough inspections.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with others.
  • Experience in food safety or a related field is an advantage.
