Senior Quality Specialist- Fruits and Vegetables- e-commerce app

e-commerce app company in Dubai, UAE is looking for a Senior Quality Specialist- Fruits and Vegetables with the following:

Job Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain quality standards and procedures for the inspection and testing of fruits and vegetables for e-commerce app.
• Conduct regular quality checks at various stages of the supply chain, including farms, warehouses, and distribution centers
• Assess and analyze quality data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and potential risks.
• Collaborate with suppliers and growers to ensure they meet the company’s quality standards and adhere to industry best practices for e-commerce app.

• Conduct regular audits of suppliers, providing feedback and guidance on quality improvement
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to foster continuous improvement and innovation.
• Ensure all products comply with food safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies for e-commerce app.

• Stay updated on changes in regulations and standards and communicate these to relevant stakeholders.
• Investigate and resolve quality issues and customer complaints related to fruits and vegetables
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify root causes and implement corrective actions
• Document and report on quality incidents, trends, and corrective actions.

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Agriculture, Horticulture, or a related field
• Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in quality assurance within the produce or food industry, with a focus on fruits and vegetables.
• Strong knowledge of food safety regulations, quality standards, and certification processes.

• Experience in supplier management and auditing
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
