4-star Hotel and Hospitality Chain- The First Collection Dubai UAE is looking for a Restaurant Manager with the following:

Job Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day restaurant operations to ensure a seamless guest experience.
  • Manage reservation systems and ensure appropriate seating plans for maximum occupancy.
  • Ensure the restaurant is compliant with health, safety, and hygiene standards.
  • Maintain a strong presence on the floor to address guest inquiries and feedback.
  • Implement service standards to deliver high-quality experiences to guests.
  • Handle guest complaints professionally and escalate issues as needed.
  • Supervise, train, and mentor restaurant staff, including waiters, bartenders, and kitchen personnel.

  • Prepare staff schedules to ensure optimal staffing levels during peak hours and events.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and develop strategies for staff improvement and motivation.
  • Manage the restaurant budget, including monitoring expenses, payroll, and cost control.
  • Maximize revenue through effective marketing, promotions, and upselling strategies.
  • Track and analyze sales data to make informed decisions to improve profitability.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure the menu meets guest expectations.
  • Regularly review the menu to stay updated with food trends and seasonal ingredients.
  • Ensure consistent presentation and quality of all menu items.
  • Oversee inventory control, including food, beverages, and restaurant supplies.

  • Work with vendors and suppliers to negotiate contracts and manage deliveries.
  • Conduct regular stock counts and manage waste reduction.
  • Assist in planning and executing special events, private dinners, and large bookings.
  • Coordinate with other departments (banquets, kitchen, marketing) for seamless event execution.
  • Ensure compliance with hotel policies, local regulations, and labor laws.
  • Promote a safe working environment for staff and customers.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure food safety, cleanliness, and equipment maintenance.

Job Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or similar role in 4/5* hotel.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with food and beverage cost control.
  • Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Spanish langauge is preferred.
