A Food Processing company in Ras Al Khaimah, UAE is looking for a Quality Inspector with the following:
Job Responsibilities
- Oversee Food Safety, Quality, and Hygiene: Ensure the factory’s adherence to food safety, quality, and hygiene standards by implementing and monitoring compliance with FSSC, ISO 22000, ISO 9001:2015, HACCP, GMP, and GHP.
- Certificate Maintenance: Responsible for maintaining all required and necessary certifications related to food safety and hygiene.
- Internal Auditing: Conduct internal audits for FSSC, ISO 22000:2018 Food Safety Management System, HALAL, and yearly vendor audits to ensure continuous compliance.
- Quality Management System Development: Build, improve, and monitor the Quality Management System (QMS) within the factory to maintain high standards.
- Auditing and Testing: Utilize expertise in auditing, testing, and monitoring factory activities to ensure they meet all food safety and quality standards.
Job Qualifications
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Microbiology or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in handling Quality Management Systems in a food production environment.
- Certifications: Preferred certification in Food Safety Management Systems.
- Skills: Strong experience in auditing, testing, and monitoring activities related to food safety and quality.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with FSSC, ISO 22000:2018, ISO 9001:2015, HACCP, GMP, GHP, and HALAL standards.
- Education: Bachelor’s (Preferred)
- Experience: Minimum 5 years in Quality Management System within the food industry (Preferred)
- License/Certification: Food Safety Management System (Preferred).
