A Food stuff trading company in Dubai, UAE is looking for a Quality Controller with the following experiences and qualifications in the Food Processing Industry:
Job Responsibilities
- Verify Cleaning Checklist: Review and verify the cleaning checklists for both areas and machines in the assigned sections to ensure adherence to hygiene standards.
- Routine Inspection of Raw Materials: Conduct regular inspections of raw materials in Food stuff trading during processing and packing stages to ensure they meet the required quality standards.
- Product Specification Check: Monitor and verify that products remain within the acceptable tolerance levels of the specified quality standards throughout the production process.
- Analyze Product Wastage: Assess product wastage during processing to identify potential defects, and work to minimize waste through corrective actions.
- Spot Check on Sorted Products: Perform spot checks on sorted Food stuff trading products by conducting cut openings in trays and evaluating the efficiency of the cleaning process.
- Specification Analysis of Sorted Products: Analyze sorted products to ensure they conform to the given specifications before moving to the next stage of production.
- Internal Non-Conformance Reporting: Identify and report any process failures or non-conformities during routine inspections by raising internal non-conformance reports.
- Critical Control Point (CCP) Verification: Conduct verification of Critical Control Points (CCPs) during processing and packing to ensure the safety and quality of the product.
- Escalation of Issues: Report all product and process-related issues to senior management and relevant departments promptly to ensure timely resolution.
- Monitor Environmental Conditions: Continuously monitor temperature and relative humidity levels in confectionery areas to ensure they remain within the required limits.
- Compliance Coordination: Ensure and coordinate compliance with Food Code requirements, collaborating with relevant teams to maintain high standards of food safety.
Job Qualifications
- Experience: A minimum of 2 years of work experience in a similar capacity within the food industry, particularly in quality control or assurance roles.
- Education: A Bachelor of Science (BSc) or Bachelor of Technology (BTech) degree in food science, food engineering, food technology, or a related field.
QC -Certifications:
- HACCP Certification: Proficiency in Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) principles and their application in the food industry.
- ISO 22000/FSSC 22000 Awareness: Familiarity with ISO 22000 or FSSC 22000 food safety management systems and their requirements.
- GMP/GHP Knowledge: Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Hygiene Practices (GHP) in food manufacturing (optional).
- Food Safety Internal Auditor Training: Completion of any food safety-related internal auditor training is an added advantage (optional).
