A Bakery in Ajman, UAE is hiring a Senior Quality Controller with the following experience in QC or QA :

Quality Controller- Responsibilities – Bakery

  • Develop and implement quality control procedures and standards.
  • Monitor the production process to ensure adherence to recipes, specifications, and quality standards.
  • Conduct regular inspections and Food audits of raw materials, production processes, and finished products.
  • Perform sensory evaluations, chemical tests, and microbiological assessments.
  • Record and analyze test results to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Inspect Food packaging and labelling to ensure compliance with regulatory and company standards.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of quality control activities, test results, and inspection findings.
  • Prepare and present reports on quality performance and areas requiring attention.
  • Ensure all documentation is up-to-date and meets regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
  • Participate in internal and external audits, addressing any non-conformities.
  • Promote a culture of safety and quality awareness within the production team.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with production, R&D, and procurement teams to enhance product quality.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in quality control.

Training and Support

  • Train and support production staff on quality control procedures and standards.
  • Provide guidance and troubleshooting assistance to resolve quality-related issues.
  • Foster a team-oriented environment focused on achieving quality objectives.

Qualifications

  • Education:  Quality Controller must have a Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in quality control within the food or bakery industry, Bread, Croissant, pastries, Cakes etc. (Please Don’t apply without experience).
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of food safety regulations, HACCP principles, and quality management systems, HACCP Plan of Bakery.
  • Skills: Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Proficiency in using quality control tools and ERP software.
  • Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
