A chemical and Food Ingredients Company in Dubai, UAE is hiring a Quality Controller Asst. to support Food Safety Manager with the following:

Job Responsibilities:

Documentation Management:

  • Accurately record data from routine inspections of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods.
  • Compile and maintain detailed records of microbiological and chemical test results.
  • Organize and update quality control documentation, ensuring all records are accurate and easily accessible.

Report Preparation:

  • Prepare comprehensive reports on quality issues, non-compliance incidents, and corrective actions taken for Food Ingredients process.
  • Generate and submit regular quality control reports to the QC Manager and other relevant departments.
  • Assist in the preparation of Process audit reports and other regulatory documentation.

Compliance and Safety:

  • Ensure all documentation meets food safety standards, HACCP, GMP, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Document and report any non-compliance issues to the QC Manager promptly.

Data Analysis:

  • Analyze quality control data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
  • Provide data-driven insights to support continuous improvement initiatives in the production process.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Assist in identifying documentation-related process improvements and implement best practices.
  • Participate in quality audits and help document and track corrective actions.

Training and Support:

  • Assist in training production staff on proper documentation procedures and quality standards.
  • Provide administrative support to the QC Manager with special projects and other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology, Quality Assurance, or a related field.
  • Experience: 1-3 years of experience in quality control or a related role within the food industry.
  • Knowledge:
    • Understanding of food safety standards, HACCP, GMP, and other regulatory requirements in a Food Ingredients Manufacturing.
    • Proficient in microbiological and chemical testing procedures of ketchups, tomoto sauce, mayonnaise , spreads etc. of Food Ingredients.
  • Skills:
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and analyze data.
    • Excellent organizational and documentation skills.
    • Proficient in using quality control software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Abilities:
    • Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to identify and implement process improvements.

  • Certifications: Certification in HACCP, GMP, or related quality control standards is preferred.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required; knowledge of additional languages is an asset.
