An app-based food retail and trading company in Dubai UAE is looking for a Quality Control Intern with the following:
Job Responsibilities
- Quality Analysis: Perform quality checks and analysis at various stages, from raw material receiving to finished product dispatching.
- Final Product Inspection: Conduct final product inspection and provide approval for shipment, ensuring all products meet quality standards.
- Hygiene and Sanitation Audits: Regularly audit hygiene and sanitation processes within the processing plant to maintain cleanliness and safety standards.
- Machinery Supervision: Oversee the maintenance and proper functioning of machinery used in food processing to ensure smooth operations.
- Temperature Monitoring: Ensure the core temperature of products remains between 0°C to 4°C throughout the supply chain, from raw material receiving to final product dispatch.
- Equipment Monitoring: Monitor chillers, freezers, vehicle chillers, and all machinery used in the factory to ensure they are functioning properly and efficiently.
- Compliance and Food Safety: Ensure food products meet organizational standards and comply with governmental regulations for safety and quality.
- Production Audits: Conduct detailed audits of production areas, including cleanliness, hygiene procedures, and the quality of products and packaging.
- Documentation and Records: Maintain accurate logs and control of all relevant documentation and records related to quality control and food safety.
- Raw Material Inspection: Reject any raw materials that do not meet quality expectations and promptly report the issue to the relevant department.
- Process Improvement: Recommend improvements to the production process to meet or exceed quality control standards.
- Team Guidance: Collaborate with and guide the production team on quality control issues to enhance overall product quality.
- Regulatory Monitoring: Monitor the production process at various levels for compliance with HACCP, GMPs, food safety procedures, pest management, and sanitation practices
Qualifications
- Experience in Quality Control (preferably in food production).
- Strong understanding of HACCP, GMP, and food safety standards.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to conduct thorough audits.
- Ability to monitor machinery and ensure temperature and quality standards are maintained.
- Strong communication skills to effectively guide and collaborate with production teams.
- Proficiency in maintaining accurate documentation and records.
- Female candidates preferred as Quality Control Intern.
- Must hold a valid husband’s visa.
