A leading Spices and Condiments Industry is hiring a Quality Controller with the following:
Responsibilities
- Inspection of raw materials (both food and packaging) at reception. Rejecting the non-conforming products (not conforming to Bayara standards), accepting conditionally if required after consulting his superior.
- Inspection of new samples received from the Procurement team and updating response of quality status of those samples.
- Monitoring Temperature and relative humidity of the warehouse area and proper escalation upon any deviations.
- To raise external Nonconformance for any serious safety and quality issues of the product.
- Accountable for preventing any cross-contamination to the products while inspecting on the inspection tray.
- Preparation of product inspection report with quality status and forwarding the report summary to purchase and warehouse daily.
- Communicating properly with warehouse staff and other Quality Controllers on the status of conditionally accepted products requiring special treatment.
- Scheduling & supervising of products’ fumigation activities when required.
- Proper filling of records on time and proper documentation in the final files.
- To arrange samples for Dubai Municipality inspection, hold the batch system-wise until the results are okay.
