Emirates Flight Catering Company in Dubai, UAE is hiring a Quality Control Operations Supervisor, in Dubai, UAE :
Job Responsibilities
- Quality Control -The Operations Supervisor ensures that products are received, cooked, and served according to the specifications and guidelines outlined in the Halal Food Safety and Quality Policy.
- They meet the gold standard for presentation and weight, with step-by-step pictures for quality assurance.
- Supervise the quality of fresh vegetables and frozen ready-to-heat or ready-to-eat items by conducting daily checks.
- Use of ERP softwares to ensure compliance with food specifications.
- Report non-conforming products and coordinate with QHSE to raise Non-Conformance Reports, improving product quality and compliance.
- Adhere to production and supplier standards through thorough inspections, audits, and collaboration to maintain quality, efficiency, and supply chain integrity.
- Conduct daily audits using the FIFO method on internal labelling across production areas, external clients, chillers, and freezers, to compile comprehensive daily quality reports for improving product freshness.
- Coordinate with the New Product Development and Specification team to maintain quality standards and facilitate efficient product management and development processes in Emirates Flight Catering Company.
- Proactively report and resolve issues within the shift by communicating effectively with supervisors and chefs for efficient resolution and to maintain operational integrity.
- Assist in training and mentoring junior staff to ensure they adhere to quality and safety standards.
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in food science, Quality Assurance, or Quality control or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations, HACCP principles, BRC, and quality management systems (ISO 9001, FSSC 22000, etc.), Quality Control in Flight Catering.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality assurance or quality control roles. Preferably food manufacturing industry or flight Catering Company.
- A candidate with experience in audits and quality control checks.
- Experience with quality management software systems like HACCP, BRC and data analysis tools.
- Ability to comply with corporate occupational Health and Safety guidelines or standards.
