A premium Chocolate company in Sharjah, UAE is looking for a Quality Assurance and Food Safety Executive :

Job Responsibilities

  • Documentation of the quality system and maintaining quality records.
  • Identify the training needs of the staff and schedule relevant trainings.
  • Scheduling internal quality audits and quality review meetings.
  • Ensure good manufacturing practices and personnel hygiene inside the operation facility.
  • Assures the food safety and specifications of products and processes by establishing and enforcing quality policies, procedures and standards.
  • Manage and maintain the auditing/monitoring of all quality parameters within the facility including incoming supplier specifications, raw materials, operation, storage, and delivery if applicable.
  • Manage and maintain the quality levels of all outside suppliers of performed services such as Pest Control, Laboratory, Calibration and any outside supplier that may occur.
  • Manage the appropriate sanitation of the facility to meet all food requirements. This includes the managing of the sanitation department (Cleaning Department) and their interaction with plant personnel, as it pertains to a complete sanitation program.
  • Manage and implement all Safety related activities within the plant including all Municipality requirements that are necessary to ensure a safe facility.
  • Responsible for Product registration and applicable regulatory requirements as stated by the municipality.
  • Provide and maintain a comprehensive audit/Check list that will verify that all quality parameters are being maintained within acceptable limits at all times. Items to be included are as follows:

Food Safety Executive – Jobs

  • Calibration certificates for all the equipment’s in the facility with a valid due date.
  • Pest Control Reports and compliance to requirements.
  • Compliance to the cleaning procedures in place and updated cleaning records on a daily basis.
  • Compliance to Personal hygiene standards and subsequent records.
  • HACCP Audits and Records.
  • Ensure that all the CCP’s are strictly monitored and recorded on a daily basis.
  • Micro and analytical testing to verify compliance.
  • Valid health card for the food handlers.
  • Ensure that the temperatures of the delivery trucks are maintained at the required temperature.
  • Internal monthly audit of the condition of the plant. Regulatory compliance audits.
  • Customer complaint audits and follows up on each occurrence.
  • Communicate all pertinent information regarding quality issues with the Operation Manager and hold product to all necessary departments Heads.
  • All 3 rd party Auditing (Dubai Municipality Inspections and HACCP Audits) to be conducted and corrective actions to be taken as required by the report in coordination with Operation Manager.
