QC Laboratory Assistant vacancy at a leading FMCG Company in Dubai UAE with the following:
Job Summary
The QC Laboratory Assistant is responsible for assisting the Laboratory Officer and QC Supervisor in ensuring laboratory analysis, raw material quality, and finished product testing meet the required standards. This role also involves overseeing hygiene activities in the factory and monitoring processing lines to uphold food safety and quality.
Job Responsibilities
- Laboratory Operations:
- Conduct sampling and testing as per the Environmental Monitoring Plan.
- Perform physio-chemical analysis of products according to specifications.
- Maintain and calibrate lab equipment, ensuring timely preventive maintenance.
- Conduct incoming inspections for all raw and packaging materials.
- Verify raw materials and finished product quality through lab testing.
- Hygiene and GMP Compliance:
- Check and monitor hygiene conditions and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) implementation in factory areas.
- Conduct personal hygiene checks for factory staff.
- Report non-conformities observed during testing and ensure follow-up actions.
- Quality Monitoring:
- Monitor in-process products to ensure food safety and quality standards are met.
- Collect and analyze finished product samples for sensory and laboratory verification.
- Verify the effectiveness of pest control programs within the factory.
- Auditing and Compliance:
- Conduct internal audits according to the internal audit plan.
- Monitor and update data on the Food Watch platform.
- Environmental and Safety Monitoring:
- Collect samples for environmental monitoring and ensure compliance with safety standards.
Job Qualifications
- Proficiency in laboratory systems and equipment handling.
- Strong understanding of food safety and quality standards.
- Knowledge of GHP (Good Hygiene Practices), GMP, and HACCP principles.
- Experience in quality food handling and testing procedures.
