A Meat Industry in Jubail, Saudi Arabia is hiring a QC Inspector with the following:

Job Responsibilities

  • Conduct detailed quality inspections of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure compliance with established meat industry standards.
  • Monitor and enforce adherence to food safety regulations and company quality control policies throughout the production process.
  • Analyze and interpret quality data to identify non-conformities, recommend corrective actions, and implement improvements.
  • Perform routine checks on production equipment to ensure proper sanitation and operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with production teams to address and resolve quality-related issues in a timely manner.
  • Prepare and maintain detailed documentation, including inspection reports, quality records, and audit findings.
  • Conduct internal audits to verify compliance with HACCP, BRCGS, and other relevant food safety certifications.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of quality control programs, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and training initiatives.
  • Lead investigations into customer complaints, identify root causes, and ensure appropriate corrective and preventive actions are implemented.
  • Support the company in external audits and certification processes, providing necessary records and documentation.

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in quality control within the meat industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of meat quality standards, food safety regulations, and production processes.
  • Proficiency in quality control inspection techniques and tools.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Food Manufacturing, Food Technology, or a related field.

  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify and analyze quality issues.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to decision-making.
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities to work collaboratively across departments.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.

Preferred Training/Certifications:

  • HACCP Level 3 certification.
  • Food Safety Level 3 certification.
  • Training in Root Cause Analysis.
  • Awareness of BRCGS standards or certification in Internal Auditing.
