A modern grain milling company in Sharjah UAE is hiring a QA Officer with the following:

Job Responsibilities

  • Compliance with Food Safety Standards
    • Ensure all quality assurance processes adhere to local and international food safety and quality standards, including ISO, FSSC, and HACCP.
    • Stay updated on regulatory changes and ensure the organization remains compliant.
  • Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Implementation
    • Enforce GMP and hygiene standards across all operational areas.
    • Conduct regular GMP inspections to maintain adherence to company standards.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting
    • Document and analyze quality assurance data, identifying trends and issues.
    • Prepare detailed reports and communicate findings to the Quality Assurance Coordinator.

  • Collaboration and Issue Resolution
    • Work closely with production and warehouse teams to identify and resolve quality issues.
    • Develop and implement corrective actions to address non-conformities.
  • Audit and Documentation Support
    • Assist in preparing for and supporting internal and external audits.
    • Submit samples to external laboratories for analysis and ensure accurate and up-to-date documentation.
  • Training and Development
    • Organize and conduct training sessions for production and operations teams on quality assurance procedures and standards.
  • Inspections and Customer Complaint Management
    • Conduct regular inspections and audits of processes and products to ensure quality.
    • Investigate customer complaints related to product quality, propose corrective actions, and implement measures to prevent recurrence.
  • Loading and Warehouse Inspections
    • Perform loading inspections to ensure product safety and compliance with food safety standards.
    • Inspect warehouse conditions regularly to identify and address potential quality risks.
  • Continuous Improvement
    • Identify areas for improvement in quality processes and recommend actionable solutions to enhance standards.
  • Housekeeping and Pest Control Coordination
    • Coordinate routine housekeeping activities with the cleaning team.
    • Conduct inspections of cleaning and pest control measures within and outside factory premises, including vehicles, to ensure a clean and safe environment.

Job Responsibilities

  • Educational Background
    • Bachelor’s degree in Quality Assurance, Food Technology, or a related field.
  • Professional Experience
    • At least 2 years of experience in quality assurance or a related field, preferably in the food industry.
  • Knowledge and Skills
    • Proficient understanding of Food Safety Standards such as ISO, FSSC, HALAL, and HACCP.
    • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail.
    • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities to address quality concerns effectively.
