Nestle International in Wales, Australia is hiring a Food Technologist with the following education in Food Science and Technology:

Job Responsibilities

  • Create and develop new products in line with Marketing briefs by Nestle Food Technologist working with suppliers, and leading factory teams to organise trials, commissioning, and evaluation of results.
  • Creation and maintenance of all specifications and Bills of Materials (Raw, Semi Finished and Finished) and compliance documents in SAP and other document control systems such as artwork.
  • •Support the “Zero injury, defect and waste” mindset and promote behaviours that have a positive impact on Safety, Health, Environment and Quality for Nestle Food Technologist
  • •Ensure all products (local and imported) comply with relevant Food & Trade Practices legislation in conjunction with the Applications Group Manager.
  • •Identify, Participate, & lead, raw material & recipe optimisation projects.
  • •Support nutrition platform through nutrition foundation and 60/40+ as required.

Job Qualifications

  • Tertiary Qualified in Food Science / Technology / BSc Material Science.
  • 2+ years’ experience in the Food Manufacturing Industry in Product Development. 
  • Previous experience and familiarity working with SAP preferred.
  • A working understanding of Australian Food Regulations is beneficial to Australian Food Safety Standards.
  • Applicants must be eligible to work in Australia and have a Permanent Residency.
