Microbiologist specialising in Water and Food Testing is wanted in a Food Safety Consultant Company with entry-level experience:
Responsibilities
- Collect samples of water and food products from various sources, ensuring representative samples are taken.
- Perform microbiological testing on collected samples to detect the presence of harmful microorganisms, such as bacteria, viruses, and fungi for food illness causing symptoms.
- Monitor and assess the overall quality of water and food products, checking for contamination and adherence to regulatory standards.
- identify and quantify pathogenic microorganisms like E. coli, Salmonella, and Listeria in water and food samples.
Qualifications
- A degree in a specific field of MSC. Microbiology, BSc. Microbiology or Food Technology with analytical skills in the lab.
- 1 year of experience is only required in a microbiology laboratory.
