The Lead Auditor Dubai will be responsible for conducting second- and third-party certification audits in the food industry and other sectors as required, ensuring compliance with international standards such as BRCGS, FSSC 22000, ISO 22000, HACCP, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001. The role includes planning, executing, and managing audits while maintaining high professional standards and impartiality.
Job Responsibilities
Audit Management
- Conduct second- and third-party certification audits for food safety standards, including BRCGS, FSSC 22000, ISO 22000, and HACCP.
- Perform audits for non-food industries following ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards as required.
- Prepare detailed audit plans, reports, and recommendations based on audit findings.
- Ensure compliance with international standards, client requirements, and TÜV SÜD protocols during audits.
Training & Development
- Design and deliver professional training programs on Food Safety Management Systems, including:
- BRCGS/FSSC 22000 Lead Auditor/Internal Auditor/Awareness Training.
- ISO 22000 Lead Auditor/Internal Auditor/Awareness Training.
- HACCP and Food Hygiene Training.
- Evaluate training outcomes and provide feedback to participants to enhance their understanding of food safety systems.
- Provide subject matter expertise on food safety, quality management, and occupational health and safety systems.
- Stay updated on changes in standards and regulations to ensure audits and training programs remain current.
Collaboration & Reporting
- Coordinate with clients to understand their audit and training requirements.
- Support cross-functional teams within TÜV SÜD for continuous improvement initiatives.
- Submit accurate and timely reports to the certification body and clients.
Job Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards (BRCGS, FSSC 22000, ISO 22000, HACCP).
- Familiarity with non-food standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001.
- Excellent planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse clients and teams.
- Proficiency in preparing clear and concise audit and training reports.
- Ability to conduct professional training sessions with clarity and authority.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology, Food Science, or a related discipline.
- Lead Auditor certification in relevant standards (BRCGS, FSSC 22000, ISO 22000, ISO 9001).
- Recognized HACCP certification is preferred.
- 3–5 years of experience in conducting certification audits for food and non-food industries.
- Demonstrable experience in planning and delivering professional training programs.
