Laboratory Technician wanted at leading food and beverages processing company in Abu Dhabi, UAE with the following:
Job Responsibilities
- Carry out day-to-day analytical services, technical support & quality data are provided to meet plant requirements & expectations.
- Escalate issues related to the quality & sampling through the correct channels in a timely & accurate manner.
- Ensure the laboratory equipment is maintained in a sound state by proper calibration & maintenance.
- responsible for following the standardized procedures (SOP) and adhering to strict QA requirements.
- Perform as per guidelines to ensure customers receive efficient service & quality results.
- Analyze physical & chemical analysis to ensure compliance with the local & international standards.
- Ensure correct laboratory procedures are followed.
- Perform & maintain efficient & effective laboratory processes with suitable turnaround time targets are met, with on-time reporting of QA results.
- Maintain appropriate stock levels of the chemicals & consumables for the laboratory.
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferably in Microbiology/Food Science.
- Minimum 3 years functional experience in laboratories preferably dates & food companies.
- Ability to test food products as per the international standards.
