A Fruits Trading Company in Dubai, UAE is looking for a Food Safety Officer with the following:
Job Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and monitor food safety programs to ensure compliance with industry and regulatory standards.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections of production processes, facilities, and equipment to ensure adherence to food safety guidelines.
- Identify potential food safety risks and recommend effective corrective actions to mitigate them.
- Train and educate staff on food safety policies, procedures, and best practices to promote a culture of food safety.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation to support internal and external audits, as well as regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with quality assurance, production, cleaning, and waste management teams to drive continuous improvement in food safety practices.
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in food safety, ideally in the FMCG – Food industry.
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards, such as HACCP and ISO 22000.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Certification in food safety or related areas is a strong advantage.
