An e-commerce company in Dubai, UAE is hiring a Food Safety Inspector Junior with the following:
Responsibilities
- Monitor, evaluate, and report analytical results of products including alerting out of compliance results.
- Assist in administering the Company’s Quality Program Accordance With Customer and company requirements.
- Review and develop Process QA & FSMS procedures
- Regular review of supplier performance as per the company’s Vendor Management System.
- Quality Control of all during receiving, inventory checks and outbound.
- Assist in troubleshooting product discrepancies.
- Conduct environmental analysis, i.e. warehouse storage temperature
- Conduct analysis of sanitation chemicals, i.e. analysis of 100 ppm solution
- Participate in the goods hold/release system.
- Conduct tasks in accordance with Good Warehousing Practices.
- Assist in customer complaint resolution and communication.
- Assistinthecompliancewithallappropriatethird-partyauditssuchasClientand HACCP.
- Create & Maintain Received and Dispatched documents including, archival storage & organization, master document storage, certificates of analysis.
- Respond to all Root cause and Corrective Action requests directed to the Dubai FF&V warehouse
- Perform other duties as required.
- Carry out cold chain facility audits for all logistics hubs and vehicles
- Maintain compliance of all Food Safety-related statutory requirements, i.e., HACCP/FSMS certification, Vehicle permits, Hub licensing and training.
- Address concerns/ non-conformities raised by the Food department
- Carry out Basic Food hygiene, GMP and essential FSQ technical trainings for both Fulfillment and logistics staff.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science or a similar role
- Minimum 3 years of experience in E-commerce in a related field
- HACCP certification Level 3
- ISO 22000 certification.
