An E-commerce company Noon in Dubai, UAE is hiring a Food Safety Inspector with the following:

Job Responsibilities

  • Monitor, evaluate, and report analytical results of products including alerting out of compliance results.
  • Assist in administering the Company’s e-commerce Quality Program in Accordance With Customer and company requirements.
  • Review and develop Process QA & FSMS procedures
  • Regular review of supplier performance as per the company’s Vendor Management System.
  • Quality Control of all during receiving, inventory checks and outbound.
  • Assist in troubleshooting product discrepancies
  • Conduct environmental analysis, i.e. warehouse storage temperature
  • Conduct analysis of sanitation chemicals, i.e. analysis of 100 ppm solution
  • Participate in the goods hold/release system.
  • Conduct tasks in accordance with Good Warehousing Practices.
  • Assist in customer complaint resolution and communication.
  • Assist in compliance with all appropriate third-party audits such as Clientand HACCP.
  • Create & Maintain Received and Dispatched documents including, archival storage & organization, master document storage, and certificates of analysis.
  • Respond to all Root cause and Corrective Action requests directed to the Dubai FF&V warehouse
  • Perform other duties as required.
  • Carry out cold chain facility audits for all logistics hubs and vehicles
  • Maintain compliance of all Food Safety-related statutory requirements, i.e., HACCP/FSMS certification, Vehicle permits, Hub licensing and training.
  • Address concerns/ non-conformities raised by the Food department
  • Carry out Basic Food hygiene, GMP and essential FSQ technical trainings for both Fulfillment and logistics staff.

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Data Science or a similar role
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in E-commerce in a related field
  • HACCP certification Level 3 and ISO 22000 certification.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present information and respond to questions from customers, managers or the general public
  • Strong organizational skills, including attention to detail, time management and prioritization to achieve results
  • Strong computer skills
  • Ability to react quickly to changing requirements
  • Laboratory Analysis
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
  • Must be able to read and interpret basic written instructions and perform tasks and projects derived from written instructions.
  • Ability to accommodate flexibility in the work schedule.
