A Quality Management System Consulting company in the US is seeking a Food Safety Consultant with the following:
Job Responsibilities
- Be proficient at writing and implementing Food Safety Programs, HACCP Plans, Preventive Controls, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and FSVP of Quality Management System Consulting.
- Be proficient at writing and implementing GFSI certification programs such as SQF, BRCGS, FSSC 22000 and PrimusGFS.
- Be proficient at writing and implementing Quality Management System (QMS) certification programs such as ISO 9001.
- Manage client projects from start to finish including conducting internal audits and preparing clients to pass their certification audits.
- Exhibit strong interpersonal skills to manage projects with various clients across the food industry.
- Be able to effectively time manage, project, and work independently for Quality Management System Consulting as a Food Safety Consultant through food safety consulting services.
- Effectively communicate food safety concepts and requirements to clients comprehensively and clearly.
- Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction for all client engagements. Ensure that we respond promptly to customer inquiries, customer work is prompt and resolves customer concerns quickly.
- Research and use peer-reviewed scientific articles and guidance documents to validate that food is made safely by our clients.
Job Qualifications
- Be able to communicate with regulatory personnel effectively.
- Participate in and add value to Kellerman Quality Management Consulting in our mission to continuously improve.
- Travel to client facilities 1 – 3 trips per month (each trip will be 1 – 3 days in duration).
- Expected Breakdown of Job Duties: 75% Food Safety Technical Writing, 15% Client Training and Program Implementation. 10% Onsite Facility Inspections or Internal Audits.
