A Food Safety Consultant Company in Dubai, UAE is looking for a Food Safety Auditor with the following:

Job Responsibilities:

  • Conduct food safety audits, inspections, and assessments in compliance with UAE regulations and international standards.
  • Evaluate food processing, handling, and storage practices in various food establishments to ensure compliance with HACCP, ISO 22000, and other relevant standards.
  • Prepare detailed audit reports, including non-conformance and recommendations for improvement.
  • Provide guidance to food industry clients on implementing corrective actions and maintaining food safety standards.
  • Stay updated on UAE Food Code and regulatory requirements, ensuring the latest safety protocols are applied.
  • Assist in developing and revising food safety policies, programs, and procedures.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure consistent implementation of food safety systems.
  • Conduct training for employees and clients on food safety, HACCP, and regulatory standards.
  • Ensure effective communication of audit results and follow-up actions.
  • Maintain records of audits, inspections, and food safety documentation.

Job Qualifications

  • Educational Qualification: Minimum graduation in science, preferably in food-related disciplines such as Food Science, Technology, Safety, Agriculture, Nutrition, Biology, Microbiology, or similar.
  • Lead Auditor Training: Certified Lead Auditor in ISO 22000, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, or similar standards.
  • HACCP Level 4 / Food Safety Level 4 Training: Mandatory.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of the UAE Food Code and relevant local regulatory requirements.
  • Additional Certification: Any other food safety-related certifications would be an added advantage as a Food Safety Auditor.

Experience-Food Safety Auditor

  • Food Industry Experience: Minimum 4 years of work experience in the food sector, with at least 1 year in a direct production or quality control role in the food industry.
  • Auditing Experience: At least 4 years of third-party management system certification auditing experience, specifically as a Food Safety Auditor.

Additional Requirements:

  • Location: Must be currently available in the UAE.
  • Availability: Immediate joiners preferred.
  • Commute/Relocation: Ability to reliably commute or plan to relocate to Dubai before starting work.
