A Food and Beverage outlet investments company in Dubai, UAE is hiring a Food Safety and Hygiene Officer with the following:
Job Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and monitor hygiene policies and procedures of Food and Beverage to ensure compliance with local health regulations and industry standards.
- Conduct regular food safety inspections of the kitchen, dining areas, and restrooms to ensure cleanliness and proper sanitation of Food and Beverages.
- Train and educate staff on hygiene and sanitation and sustainable practices, including proper food handling, storage, and cleaning techniques.
- Collaborate with the kitchen and management teams to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Monitor and maintain records of sanitation and hygiene practices, including cleaning schedules, pest control, and waste management of Food and Beverage outlets.
- Report and address any hygiene-related issues promptly to ensure the safety and satisfaction of our guests.
- Ensure all Food and Beverage preparation areas meet or exceed health and safety regulations.
- Knowledge and ability to use software in food safety and ERP applications in Food.
- Application of FSMS training and GMP methodologies in food process and restaurant kitchen.
Job Qualifications
- Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within the hospitality or food service industry.
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and hygiene standards of Food and Beverage in UAE.
- Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and training skills.
- Certification in Food Safety or Hygiene Management and HACCP levels is a plus.
