Responsibilities

  • To perform an inspection of the Food Establishment.
  • To implement relevant laws and regulations.
  • Inspect food handling, storage, and preparation practices to maintain sanitation standards.

  • Evaluate the cleanliness and condition of kitchen facilities and equipment.
  • Collect samples for testing and analysis to verify food quality and safety.
  • Document inspection findings, violations, and recommendations for corrective actions.
  • Educate and advise food handlers on proper sanitation and hygiene practices.
  • Enforce regulations and take appropriate actions, such as issuing warnings or citations, to address violations.

  • Collaborate with other agencies and authorities to address food safety concerns.
  • Stay updated on regulations, guidelines, and industry best practices related to food safety.
  • Participate in training programs and workshops to enhance knowledge and skills in food safety inspection.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Food Science.
  • Minimum 2 years experience in Food Safety or Food Handlers.
  • ISO 1702 Certified.
  • Good Command in English and Arabic.
